Fabien Barel vince la Urge Nepal 2010. A causa delle sfavorevoli condizioni climatiche la gara è partita da 4350mt al posto dei previsti 5100. Barel chiude con un tempo di 29’25″, dietro di lui Vouilloz con 30’07″. Terzo classificato Wildhaber con il tempo di 30’37″. In basso il comunicato stampa ufficiale.

The Urge Nepal has been won by Fabien Barel
The race started at 4350 meters altitude facing the Dhaulagiri, famous peak in Nepal. The weather conditionsand snow level at 440 m. forced the organisation to short the treck previously planned at 5100 m. altitude.
Aniway, the riders all mention the quality of the ride that has been unreal. One of the Best in their life with hight technicity and epic sceneries.
29’25″ has been enought to Barel to reach fr; 4350 m. to 2600 m. altitude, so an unreal average speed on this 100% single track. He is slightly ahead of the 2 expected favorites Nicolas Vouilloz and Rene Wildhaber respectively in 30’07″ and 30’37′.
Summit of the event Urge Nepal, the race gave everyone all expectation. However, the adventure continue the next day with more than 70 km downhill down to Pokara.
A lot of images, photo and video, to illustrete all stories f the secnd edition of Urge Eventsm are expected in few daysm time fr riders and staff to be back in their countries…
