For the second consecutive year Sestriere will be the theater where they will play the Italian championships downhill 2012. This weekend the path downhill to the district of Mount Fraiteve will be crowded by most of the circuit rider gravity Italian. The race is once again Down Tower. Two miles of track for a total climb of 390 m. A major novelty is that the finish will be even more spectacular and exciting for the audience as the asphalt will be staged in the town center. Nel del weekend 21 and 22 July, the track "Down Tower" of Mount Fraiteve will be the scene of the Italian Championship Downhill.
The track that Gee and Dan Atherton have tested and legitimized as a track World Cup presents a unique setting for landscape and soil type with fast stretches at the start with the banks and jumps 80 km ORARI. The course has been designed and planned by Enrico Guala Alpibikersort in collaboration with the referent of the house and Andrea Leo.
The trail winds on the slopes of Mount Fraiteve to 2.000 m with a typical scenario of high mountains with breathtaking views of the moon and almost even visible from the square of the sports hall. After a short transfer to the ridge of the Fraiteve, we reach the start of a cake which takes riders on two corners to fast 70 km / h, which they throw on a double jump very spectacular. Following a bend speedway style leads to another double-long. This was followed then stretches open and in the woods with panettone and two spectacular.
The central part presents a rather difficult section in the woods with counterslopes and roots that make selection. A spectacular half-track passage of a wooden structure with tail raised ( to allow the passage of pedestrians below the structure itself) and a final section with artificial supercross style jumps, double, dishes and a spectacular finish in the town center.
