As we prepare to spend the last day of 2011 already the largest companies in the industry are working on products of the season 2013.
The Taichung Bike Week is a show behind closed doors, journalists and the public are not invited, it's a fair aimed exclusively to builders. But something still was leaked… Very interesting rumors come on the frontsShimano, SRAM, Fox, Easton and others.

This is still speculation that does not mean they are confirmed. But as they say, a little’ of healthy gossip never hurts.

Shimano: new standards, new groups and new SLX
For the 2013 Shimanowould be developing a new rear vertical defined by the same “direct-mount” that will be standard for derailleurs Shadow. This new dropout eliminate the small appendage which houses the gearbox mounting bolt on today's exchange rate Shadow and Shadow +. Longer and more at an angle will allow a faster service if there is a need to disassemble the gearbox. The innovation would be even more solid in the rear derailleur that will change more fluid.
