The Yeti officially launches its new enduro bike. It will be called SB-66 and adopt a new suspension system patented Yeti called Switch. L’SB-66 is the result of more than two years of research, development of prototypes and field tests. The bike will not replace any of the models Yeti current range. To Yeti want to offer different types of bikes for different riding styles (The monocross Yeti continue to be offered to all lovers of driving a bit’ more “physics”).
Technology Switch is the placement of an eccentric main dell'infulcro that changes its position during the work suspension. The goal is to get an anti-squat to optimize pedaling efficiency but at the same time make the independent suspension, responsive and efficient on small bumps.
On pedaling efficiency
In the first phase of the eccentric travel moves slightly backwards in order to counterbalance the effect of the chain and give the bike an excellent gaming anti-squat.
Sensitivity of the suspension
In the second phase of the travel, when the suspension starts to work really, 100mm excursion about the link rotates forward allowing the suspension to work independently from the influence of the chain and eliminating pedal feedback.
Yeti has worked extensively with Fox to optimize the response of the suspension is in the process of pedaling shock absorption during downhill.

L’SB-66 will be available in 4 sizes (small, medium, large ed extra large) and will have 67 degrees of steering angle, bottom bracket height of 340.36 mm, length rear 434,34, Seat angle 72 °, and 1148mm wheelbase bike size M. The recommended sag of the Yeti 25% on the bike. The work of the suspension has been optimized together with a joint work with Fox that has been involved from the initial stages of design.
Available colors (like the pictures on this page) will: turquoise, yellow, black and white. From next December there will be a carbon version of SB 66 that will save about 500g total weight of the bike.
